Over 20 Countries Condemn Iran for Coordinated Attacks on Their Territories
A coalition of 22 nations demands Tehran halt attacks targeting Jewish communities and dissidents abroad.

Twenty-two countries, including the United States and several European nations, have jointly condemned Iran for orchestrating attacks on their soil. The coalition has called on Tehran to immediately cease "attempts to kill, kidnap, persecute, intimidate or otherwise attack people within our territories," emphasizing that such actions undermine national sovereignty and international norms.
The countries involved in this collective statement, published on Thursday, June 11, include Germany, Albania, Australia, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, and the United States.
Targeted Attacks Against Dissidents and Jewish Communities
The statement alleges that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its foreign branch, the Quds Force, have been engaged in "deadly plots and malicious activities" against Iranian dissidents, journalists, and Jewish communities abroad.
Intelligence services from the signatory countries attribute a series of recent attacks across Europe to the Tehran-linked group "Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia" (Islamic Movement of the Followers of the Right Hand). This faction has claimed responsibility for assaults on Jewish communities and arson attacks on synagogues in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
"These actions represent a clear violation of sovereign rights and international peace, and must be halted immediately," the joint declaration stated.
The coordinated public denunciation comes amid heightened concerns over Iran's expanding covert operations in Europe, which may affect geopolitical stability and security perceptions within key Western markets.
Market watchers are monitoring this development closely as geopolitical risks tied to Iran’s activities could influence sector rotations, particularly impacting defense stocks, energy markets sensitive to Middle Eastern tensions, and regional trading volumes related to security concerns.
The international community's united stance underscores the increasing pressure on Tehran to refrain from destabilizing actions targeting foreign soil, signaling a potential escalation in diplomatic and economic responses if the attacks persist.
