Drone Attacks on Dnipro Result in Seven Injuries and Multiple Fires Overnight
Seven people, including two children, were injured in drone strikes on Dnipro, causing fires in residential buildings and commercial properties.

Overnight drone attacks targeted multiple districts in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, injuring seven individuals, including two girls aged 9 and 14, according to local authorities. The strikes also triggered fires in several apartments and damaged businesses and vehicles.
Impact and Response to the Drone Assault
The assaults occurred during the night of April 22-23, as Russian unmanned aerial vehicles struck various parts of the city. One of the drones hit a multi-story residential building, igniting fires on the fourth and fifth floors, as shown in footage shared by regional officials. The incident also set ablaze a nearby store and a car parked adjacent to the structure.
Local health services reported that the two injured children were hospitalized and are in stable condition. In addition, three adults were admitted with moderate injuries, including two women aged 62 and 68. A 35-year-old man suffered injuries but did not require hospitalization.
“The children were promptly taken to the hospital, and all injured adults are receiving medical care with their conditions assessed as moderate,” stated regional authorities.
Previous attacks on April 21 resulted in four injuries, and on April 22, damage was recorded to two residential buildings and a private home, alongside vehicle destruction. These continuing assaults have heightened concerns about civilian safety and infrastructure stability in Dnipro.
The most severe attack on Dnipro occurred on the night of April 16, when combined drone and ballistic missile strikes killed four people and wounded 34. The strikes caused multiple fires, damaging residential buildings, garages, cars, and an educational facility. These incidents highlight the ongoing security challenges faced by cities in the conflict zone.
Market participants and analysts are monitoring these developments closely, as escalating conflict-related disruptions can impact regional economic activities, supply chains, and investor confidence in Ukrainian markets.
